cheers for looking

PS: or does anyone know where i can download it from. :)

Have you been sorted with this? If not give me a shout.

i have downloaded a crack version, but what i'm really after is a original one untouched that try it for a while and if i get on with it, i was going to buy a code

I grabbed both of them when they were put up (thanks to morilihochili) so can post if needed

I thought you bought a retail version? Then sold it.

(TT)

I did m8 but that was the update version and you had to install windows 7 first as i wouldn't go on for me as a clean install, gave me some rubbish about the code been wrong for what i had installed, so sold it, to be honest I'm sitting at home bored so thought i would have a play again, the disk you sent me i cant bloody find gods know where i put that. :(

Is this for you Napster?

Windows 8 is a tablet sort of OS, it is terrible on a desktop just in case you haven't tried it :).

Natively, yes. With Classic Shell it's just an enhanced version of Windows 7

I agree with the comment, although designed for tablets the underlying architecture as an OS has been improved. My choice of OS for sure.

It's not intended for long term support like XP and Windows 7 as far as I know. I've only had the misfortune to use it once :).

I've got an " activated for life " version that you can use as a clean install or upgrade but I'm reluctant to use it cos it looks like something you would have on an iPhone . it's probably ok on a touch screen though.
I might build another pc and stick it on it just to see what it's like. If you want a copy let me know.

if you use the stardock app to put the win 7 start button back, its great.

just a fancy win 7.. :)

I have tried it and to be honest I'm not sure what to make of it, boots faster, opens things faster on screen box's are ok but it also puts all the crap that comes with the software you install on desktop, your always cleaning the think up or you end up with page's of rubbish you never touch normally.

I'll keep playing for a but see what happens like spectre says if i had touch screen it my be different.
