IE10 for Windows 7

Not my first favourite choice of browser, but like to keep IE up to date all the same.

Will be useful as work shifts to Win7 over the next couple of months, as we're not suppoed to install other browsers - to the point where the Mozilla site is actually blocked.

I use a Windows 8 tablet and neither Firefox nor Chrome gives the full touch ability that IE10 does. So as much as I love Firefox it is a no go for me on this tablet (Acer W510).

the problem i see on IE is that sometimes in some user/pwd forms have some bugs. i ve some PC's that crash as i write the pwd.
But i also noticed that chrome and firefox has a lot of slow down due to flash that i don't have on IE.

last time i tried this i wouldn't upload files to forum, do you know if that works now, nice find m8 thanks will still try it :)

IE10 + Win7 upload test for Napster. Not working - just sits there spinning :handball:

[edit]
Right got it to upload, you have to switch to compatibility view. Unfortunately that then breaks the layout when you come back to the thread view so you have to switch back.

What bothers me more is that enter and return don't - the cursor just sits there as though you've pressed nothing :err: (I'm actually having to edit this in Firefox).

BIT more clocking, think i will give it a miss then, until they update it :)

One thing that is important with IE10 is the compatibility view settings. Some sites absolutely needs it to be ticked and others definitely do not. Once I have figured that out I have a very stable IE10, but then I run it solely with Windows 8.
