Keep Your SSD Healthy (And Other Tips) [Windows & Mac]

Gotta ask, have an old Dell Laptop Inspiron N7110. Had until last December a single Samsung 320gb HDD with everything on it installed. I run the HD Sentinel software, health and performance were both was 100%. Got my hands later on on a Samsung 860 EVO SSD. Installed this drive as primary (fresh installation of Win 7) and of course the performance got muuuuuuch better. I use the HDD for storage purposes only of course.

However, ran recently the HD Sentinel again, and the SSD drive's (currently running at 246 full days) health dropped to 98%. The old HDD's health is still 100%!!! (running for 757 days).

I do not use the laptop on any other different way than before, and so it bums me out that the health of a new SSD drops much quicker than an old HDD's. I have applied all the tips for the 1st post.

Any ideas?
Thanks guys

Than you for the advice, I have an SSD 512 GB, and I'm very happy with my PC performance since I bought it, now is really fast!

Isn't there something built into the latest windows 10 to tell you when your SSD is going to fail?
