Leading video game Peripherals Company to release the RetroN 5 in Europe.
EL MONTE, CA (AUGUST 2013) – With the widespread demand that the RetroN 5 has worldwide, Hyperkin officially announces that the RetroN 5 will be released in European territories. Although no date has been set for the release of the RetroN 5, the European release will coincide with the US release, with the MSRP set at €89.99. Pre-order information will be available at a later date.
The RetroN 5 will now include an AC Adapter with four variable head sockets to fit multiple regions, with the voltage ranging from 110 to 240 volts. This adapter will also have CE & UL certification.
The RetroN 5 will also be available for demo exclusively in the Retro Area at the OpenPandora booth located in Hall 10.1, F70 at Gamescom, the world’s largest trade fair in Cologne, Germany, from August 21-25, 2013. Attendees of Gamescom will be the first in the world to demo the Bluetooth Wireless Controllers that come standard with the RetroN 5.
