Hi,

I have a couple of SNES in a drawer. The plan is to clean them up and move one or two on.
However the one I want to keep I really want the multiregion switch and 50/60hz switch doing.

Found a couple of places on line but they are slow in the responses back to me.
Does anyone know of a trusted service?

I did buy all the parts myself but it looks to easy to fudge!

Are you wanting manual switches or something like the SuperCIC?
My personal pref is the SuperCIC as it has no compatibility issues that I've found

Haha, I had a partner in crime for the soldering, thing is he is 250 miles away now!

I like the idea of auto, it's just the cost over manual. I can see the auto kit is £15 to buy but the soldering looks tricky

It's actually not too bad, where bouts in the UK are you mate? (you can pm if you don't want to post public)

Bit of a trek from me pal, otherwise I'd say come by and drop it in for surgery.

the pin lifting is the worst bit, I use some decent flux, and a fin tip soldering iron and it does the trick.

I would definitely recommend the auto mod, as I've seen a few games glitch with the manual ones.
