And so it begins.

Maybe if euro countries tightened up their borders and stopped the lunatics, holidaymakers would feel safer and travel more..

This sort of shit doesn't help either..

A real shame. They were my first port of call when booking a holiday.

Can you not book with one of the "intense competition" as mentioned in the article? The BBC are europhilic and will latch onto anything which could be due to Brexit.

"Smith & Williamson said intense competition had caused the collapse but also the increased terror threat and the uncertainty before and after the recent referendum."

A spokesperson for the UK regulator, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said: "We understand the Spanish travel company Lowcost Holidays has ceased trading. The company was based in Mallorca and was registered with the Balearic Islands authorities.

"The company was therefore not part of the UK's Atol scheme and the Balearic Islands authorities are responsible for the holiday protection arrangements for the company's customers.

I'll be sticking to Portugal. The country is skint & can't afford to be fighting with anyone.

So is morocco/egypt/tunisia etc but they dont get an option.

Brexit ahs nothing to do with low cost hols going bust.
The gbp is only 4% down on june 16 trading, its the terror threats and uncertainty of places like turkey thats the issue.
Low cost hols only brokers any way, just gave you hotel/plane/transfer deals to put together.

Lowcost Travel demise blamed on Brexit vote - BBC News

A real shame. They were my first port of call when booking a holiday.

For the time being they will blame anything they can on Brexit, the exchange rate against the dollar is one example but if you look at the markets the US markets are the strongest they have been in over 30 years and that certainly isn't caused by Brexit.
And let's face it it will be 2 years before we are out of the EU so all the money market fluctuations are just the brokers trying to make a fast buck.
They have said that house prices are dropping because fewer people are putting their properties on the market because of Brexit. Strange that, because usually they blame the rise in prices on there being fewer properties on the market and so therefore the are more people wanting the property and so they will outbid each other.
It is all just Bull****

I'm amused by the businesses called "Euro [Something]" or "[Something] Euro", I have even seen "Pizza Euro", which is ran by Iranians. Nearly as bad as companies in the '90s putting "2000" in their name, as sixteen years later they still haven't changed it and it looks ridiculous.

Remember when the EU did this?

That would have cost lots of small businesses the fee of a web type person to add that.

my business is a Euro something, but, when it was created, specialised in providing services from europe, which brexit will have little to no affect on
