France has declared a national state of emergency and has closed its borders after at least 40 people were killed in multiple shootings in Paris.

Madness and there will be more , and probably on our island soon enough. I still haven't seen a confirmed report of the group attacking though although there seems to be one assumption most are jumping to.

Something needs to be done about this islamic terrorismn, maybe its time to join the ruskies and go in and blitz all the " freedom fighters" and then sort out the syrian regime afterwards. I fear unless the muslim community come out and denouce these attacks everyone is going to say " If you dont condemn them then you are supporting them "

Absolutely right it's ok staying quiet but rightly or wrongly non Muslims will assume silence is support behind closed doors which I am not entirely convinced isn't true tbh at least in some cases. That is another can of worms though.
I don't see how bombing is helping either though it's a mess but I don't see how it can be sorted with bombs and I wouldn't wish it on anyone I don't see how it can be resolved with out full force invasion. The way things are going it is already ww3 just no one is treating that way apart from Isis, al qeada and co.
I also don't see how accepting unchecked refugees is going to sort anything. It's going to kick off in an even bigger way. Germany is seeing history repeating for different reasons but still directed at a religion that isn't native to the country.
The UK hasn't seen the amount of refugees yet that France and Germany have and the EU has to take a different approach it's bringing a war in our own back garden.
I feel for and think help should be given to all refugees , BUT !! If you can't separate the refugees from the people that have caused the refugees how can you fight the enemy?
That has been the issue with all of the recent pretty much un won wars in the Middle East as far as I can see. If the wars were started rightly or wrongly the Middle East dose need sorting I just think the wars were probably started for the wrong reasons and objectives.

These are my opinions on what I have read or watched (propaganda or fact?) and I don't claim to know for sure all of the facts before anyone tells me off. I don't want to get in more trouble after my Scotland rant a bit ago.

You have to remember the genuine law biding Muslim people may be in real fear for their lives and may feel they have to stay silent to protect their families here and aboard

My thoughts are this, at any one time in the UK alone there are well over 2000 targets being monitored by the security services, targets being extremist Muslims and fanatics, the security services know who these scumbags are and their activities and movements, why wait until they do something similar here ? take them out in silence, no reporting, no remorse, complete blackout, do the same EVERY TIME these shitheads surface.

America needs to stop funding the Syrian rebels. Like it or not, they are ISIS!

ISIS are also in control of some of the oil supply/fields and are making millions from the sale of oil to other dodgy countries. Probably America?

Shouldn't we be looking at taking away that control??

As for the Muslim/Islam community, they will always be quiet. ISIS is based on the foundations of Islam so they can't say anything!

I read an article where a poll was conducted and the Muslim community was asked if they wanted their country's rule of law or sharia law. Something like 70% wanted sharia law. I can't remember what country it was though?
But regardless. 70% wanted sharia law.

ISIS are implementing sharia law.

One of the Arab Kings/sultans has just passed a ruling implementing sharia law in his country!

Like it or not... Muslims themselves are NOT the problem. The problem is Islam and the interpretations of it!

i don't think we can keep religion out of this thread.

isis has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
they are hell bent on imposing their religious views on the rest of the world, difficult to keep religion out of it tbh...

Indeed. And it has been said that the attacks are revenge for France's involvement in bombing Syria.

The sad thing is (apart from the obvious- my heart goes out to the victims and their loved ones) that the perpetrators are sill at large. Yes, the suicide bombers blew themselves up. But they are not the real perp's. They had simply been brainwashed into believing their actions were for the greater good, and possibly the promise of a better life on 'the other side'. The real perp's are the cowards who orchestrated it. And they are still at large, probably grooming the next batch vulnerable souls into committing the next atrocities.

The whole thing does beg the question though. With all those billions being spent internationaly on intelligence, how can bunch of uneducated rag-heads manage to carry out something like this with impunity?

It seems a Syrian passport was found near one of the suicide bombers who attacked the football stadium.
I suppose this will bring more pressure to bear on the migrants who are fleeing the troubles , are isis using this as a chance to get terrorists into Europe ?
