List of Game/Gamestation stores shut

Well my local game in Bracknell has closed.

I walked past today thinking I'd try and snag a bargain only to see the shutters down and nothing in the store except shelves and staff cleaning. A very sad sight indeed

my gf lives there told me 2 weeks ago it was closing

That has to hurt; Gamestation was only recently bought by Game too.

Even that was a travesty, Gamestation was great until Game got their mitts on them.

To be honest though, everything is over priced in there stores and even when games start getting reduced over time they still remain ridiculously high so what do they expect plus the fact that the likes of EA have totally killed the trade in market.
Think i still have about £30 on a gift voucher for gamestation and i have had that ages but never used cos found games cheaper elsewere. Think that will be going in for some PSN points

I'm surprised they went into administration TBH thought the gaming industry was doing well? might have been piss poor management when they got bought out, they remind me of cash converters with thier pricing policy though won't miss em that much. :Fish:

I have to agree, even though my local GS what run by fookin idiots who didn't even know FF X-2 was an actual game...
