Who would cheat..?

Ive seen a list of players Banned by punkbuster and MBL ban list.

Theres alot of noobs on there. And a few ive played with.. And they have taken the mickky on our clan server. {Saying No Names} And now Banned for life.

Whats the point of buying a game to cheat.. Is that how people get there kicks.? Or is it the only way they can beat any one.

Should you not play for fun regardless of how many points they can score in IAR...
Whats all the gamers views on ERE.?

well as long as punkbuster is staying on top of the majority of the hackers it's all good.

i know australias no1 bf2 player got reset for hacking, but on bf2s he claims innocence

and firestorm got reset for hacking then got his stats back again when they found out he hadn't

people who use hacks are never going to get good at the game properly anyway, so when pb does detect their hack they'll just get pwned constantly.

and as bf2 goes if you check the bf2 roe Rules of Engagement - BFROE - Rules of Engagement you'll find according to that no matter wtf you do your cheating.

The trouble is That punkbuster will only work with known Hacks...
Its seems more people are using mutli hacks or hacked video drivers and wall hacks. Which is worst then someone Playing a knife and pistol server.

i tried one once in my old account - Nasty_Bloke - and got my cd key banned and had to get a new cd key, that was away back in 1.2 times, so the fooker never even worked lol

as for knife pistol servers, i dont think there is anything wrong with them.

if everyone is doing the same thing in the server how the fook is that cheating?

i play wake and mostly now anyways, frikin fed up with karkand.

and i think the undetected hacks cost like £100 from hack sites.

No i dont think k&p srv are cheating as such But in that link you showed was just a example of EA/Dice ROE which is well over the top IMO

Your been honest enough to say you have cheated....
But what made you want to try a hack in the first place..?
what did the hack you use do.?
And if you was server admin and wanted to stop cheats spoiling the fun for offers... And end up leaving our server. As a Xcheat what are the tell tail signs of hacker/cheats..?
And where can i find a hackers inside mind to this..?

the hack i tried to use was the commander hack it was supposed to fill everything up when you hit f6

so you had unlimited arty, uav, scan, supplies, ect

but pb booted me before i got a chance to try it

anyways it cost me a tenner for a new key, so i wont be trying that again.

i do go in kp servers from time to time though, just because it's fukin chaos and funny as hell.

and if you play medic you can usually hit 500+ in a round

my highest is 671

Hackers do it to see if they can, and they openly hack and dont care if they get caught.
Also, when you get bored of a game some hack.

The worst problem is the 'Squad/Clan members' that say they dont cheat but do (they are often good hackers themselves) - aka Closets

And besides, what would the good people at Punkbuster and Argus do without them

I am a member of the admins team at punksbusted.com and as much as we do there will always be these cheating noobs around.
We run over 30 servers in all sorts of games and can never stop the cheating on our servers. the best we can do is try and slow it down and spec for cheaters and ban. another problem here is a hack goin around called unbanme which after a ban they can activate and get back into the server. my mbl alone has over 800 bans which probably only half of them are legit and the other half are the same people hacking over and over.
bunkbuster were talking about a hardware ban a few years ago which would be better i think. which reads the computers hard drive id and other hardware which would ban the configuration and ids of a computer. which in turn means the only way around pb would be to get a new computer or hardware.

I have to agree, too many games have been ruined by Noob, it's nearly impossible to get a Game of the old Red Alert without some gobshite using cheats to mess it up. Shame, a great game non the less.

So you have been bizzy boy then.... I hear a load of Noobz who was using the msx hacks are being kicked for Hooks or something..
But since this post was first posted ive seen the number off hack online sites growing week by week.. And this is the first big hit since the 1.4 patch when i first posted this.

So what happened to the hardware banning...?

surely completely banning people cheating will not resolve the problem if anything, people will play less on punkbuster servers?
IMHO, I think that banning people is poor Marketing and bad for PR.
As you can tell, I've been banned for playing with a cheat on a cod2 server, and it was a mistake on my part as I got drunk, I got pissed off with these cheaters, so I downloaded a 'hack' myself so that I could give them a piece of there own medicine, but of course it back fired as the following morning I got banned - Ironic.

One thing I have learnt from the online gaming community is 'once a cheat always a sheep shagger'

The people who can't resist using or even trying a hack are weak minded and obviously 'feel' the need to be superior compaired with everyone else......maybe for personal satisfaction etc.....maybe for ranks, maybe for some sort of respect as a good player.

Quite easy to find a cheat, invite them to a LAN. Always the same people with excuses not to attend LAN's.

In a way I feel slightly sorry for these people, obviously have no real-life m8's and this is the only way they are going to get a kick from life.

Thank god for PWD'ing a server and only allowing trustworthy people on.
