Gta iv pc????

Hi, is there any news on if or when GTA IV will be on PC I was a bit gutted tbh I thought it was being released on all platforms and it turned out I was thinking of Saints Row 4. I have a xbox and ps3 sat here but since I got my lappy I refuse to buy on consoles now especially now they are milking every penny they can out of folk selling it on ps3 then ps4 etc.

We still don't know, Rockstar have neither confirmed nor denied a PC port.

Nvidia did make a gaff a couple of weeks ago.

But then attempted to backpeddle with this press release:

This statement was made with the intent of expressing enthusiasm for the games industry in general, and was not intended to represent specific knowledge possessed by NVIDIA. NVIDIA does not have information on any possible PC version release of Grand Theft Auto or its availability. We deeply regret the error."

I gave in and bought it on the ps3 because I had three days off work and I managed to play it for 2 hrs tops in the 3 days it is good though gutted I couldn't play more.

I read something that some guys have been looking over the code for the console versions and came across some coding that had xboxone psorbis (which I think was the ps4's codename) and PC in there somewhere which might mean that once the dust has settled on this gen maybe a better version could be on the way for the next gen and PC. It would make sense to keep this quiet as rockstar wouldn't want to hurt current gen sales so maybe we'll see a slightly higher res nicer looking version of the game coming next gen. Of course it's all rumours but it would be great if true

Just to be pedantic, you mean V not IV

Didn't somewhere post retail box shots by mistake earlier in the week? Personally I think a pc version is a dead cert as they know just how much money they can make.

I seen something about the pc version yesterday but can't remember where. It was on a web site and it was defo for release this year.

EDIT: just checked History of pages I visited yesterday and can't find anything to back up what i said above so best ignoring that. Would have sworn i'd seen something mentioned about it yesterday.

I saw it too mate think there's a post on hotukdeals they are speculating on the date being the 11th November and costing £25 if I remember right it was GameStop taking orders. I can't wait to get back to it especially now I've found out there was a blimp code in the box lol I have another 3 days off work coming up so I'll be putting some hours in hopefully.
