Yes it works great. Plays everything I throw at it.

search for rasplex. i used it for 12 months on my pi

Is the Pi 2 powerful enough to run a Plex server? I'm using Openelec with MySQL database but Plex looks like a nicer way to do things.

No, the Pi 2 doesn't have the power to handle the transcoding. Rasplex works great as the client though.

I use an old laptop, got rid of Windows and installed Linux and Plex Media Server. The same server can also handle any automated rss torrent downloading.
