Hi,

So I thought I would be clever and get a box to mess with, its a modified nbox bzzb which came with an OpenPli image on. Working my way around I notice it only has 2 satellites 11.2 and another - is there a config file which holds the sat info as Im trying to add 28.2....

Im guessing Enimga2 is pretty much standard across the board - is it a driver based OS? Say for example if an addon is supported by E2 should it work on all E2 boxes?

Thanks :)

go to menu plugins press green button and it will download more plugins then settings and pick a channel list for your requirements let it install reboot box and you should be good to go

Thanks but is it a plugins issue? The only transponders (is that the right word) I can see are 11 something or other and another on my other boxes I have a whole list of different options available one being 28.2.

Thanks

As long as it worked, glad your sorted.

Alright mate, you wouldn't know how to add and remove softcams manually would you? If I go into the softcams menu all I can do is start\restart and change which one Im using (none of which seem to work). What I wanted to do in connect to the box and clear them all out and add one which I know works...

Thanks :)

On OpenPLI you can download emus

Menu-Plugin then press the green button and you have them there to download. To remove if you go into software manager then press red button i think there are removal options. Not in front of mine so i could be wrong.

Thanks mate - Im not in front of mine either but, Im pretty sure if I go into this section and press the green to download its empty.

How do these images work? I mean as I understand it this is a generic image "OpenPli" so should the functionality be standard across the board or are the images modified differently per box?

Im keen to get this box working (to keep the girlfriends dad off my case) but Im also enjoying learning about them.

Although this box does seem to be more ftp manageable rather than from the GUI.

Thanks again for all your help - looking at your sig you have a bit of a collection :)

Downloads should be there, it takes a while to populate the menu with the download options but if you want to install a emu manually do this

FTP a OpenPLI specific emu to the TMP folder
Then Menu-Plugins- and find software manager
Open that and use the manual install options.

How about deleting them? Ive got a whole selection of emu's which Im pretty sure don't work:-

oscam7119 sci0
oscam7119 sci0 phoenixUSB
oscam7119 sci0 sci1
oscam8648 110rc stable only readers
oscam8648 phoenixUSB only readers
oscam conax pairing

And some other random ones - I guess these are preloaded with the image?

Hi - finally managed to have a look at this. Neither of those locations contain the files. Usr/bin contains a load of shortcuts like bunzip2 and bzcat and the other just contains files like autofs bootclean.sh etc.

Cheers

Just looked on mine mate usr/bin is correct

Ive 3 emus installed on openpli4 CCcam,OscamYmod and mgcamd and they all live in usr bin and /etc/init.d/

Zzip a OpenPLI mipsel for oscam and youll see the location are as above.
