I have tried to flash bootloader to my ibox plus but absolutely nothing happens on the dislpay to indicate its started, i just get LC-c then box boots to normal screen. I have tried 2 different 4gb flash drives. Also tried both usb ports. Flash drive activity light blinks continuously even after box has booted. File structure for bootloader is

vuplus/duo
inside which is the file cfe_cfe_auto.bin

Also can anyone tell me the file structure for flashing OpenPLi-4.0
I have to be missing something, but no clue what

thanks

It's normal what happens..flashing bootloader takes only a second or two and that's it..
You must ensure you are flashing correct bootloader for your box and the correct image.
Flashing openpli is the same as every image..copy cloudx folder to usb with box off insert usb in back port turn on box and wait for flash..it is hit and miss with ibox that anything is shown on display so you just have to wait for box to reboot to indicate successful image flash...

Images and bootloader are here.

What box you got ? ibox plus ?

Dont think any ibox except the ibox 4 take the duo bootloader your trying to flash !

If you have a ibox 2 plus that certainly wont use that bootloader.

I think you need to clarify the box model you have.

advice

I hope this is not in the wrong place.
After many hours of trying to setup a cloud ibox 2 plus and getting nowhere I am looking for advice on a box that anyone can be set up without being a a couple of steps behind Einstein.
Ive tried everyway to flash the darned thing like using both usb sockets and 3 different usb sticks, with all folder names Ive found on the forums. No luck at all, the darned thing wont be flashed with either bootloader or image.
Im reasonably good at setting things up as a rule but this has got me. Maybe its faulty or a clone or something like that.
Id like to thank everyone who tried to help me out
So is there a box thats as easy or at least nearly as easy to set uo for ALL channels.
cheers

Well as i pointed out above your trying to use VU+ duo files on a ibox 2+ that is never going to work and you may have bricked it.

Have you tried this image ?

Read the info on the thread flash bootloader first then the image.
