auto bouquets for uk cable??

Just right click and select "save as", works here doing it that way,

there is a problem with rar files that @Mick is aware of, although we thought it was fixed :(

Hmm I can right click and Save As on both files but I cannot just click on it like normal,so thats rar's and zip's now

the above script works fine and it gave me a new cables.txt file :)

i enter 6952 in my cable tuner settings, is 6952 the network id? ive forgot what some of this stuff means lol
ive also noticed another number of 6887 is that another net id?

Yes m8 both are net id's
 
just been reading abit more and they are symbolrates, im using the wrong one of 6952 here, it should be 6887, although it is still working on 6952.
my network id is 41060 i remember now,

Sorry about that m8,my first google result said they were net id's lol

Its been a very long time since I went near cable :)
 
Mine is using both symbol rates 6952 for qam 256 and 6887 for qam 64
 
strange i could only scan in about 80odd channels in with 6887 even though thats supposed to be my area symbolrate.
with 6952 i scan in around 600 channels i think it was.

are you sure? if i enter sr 6887 i get no signal sq but on 6952 it locks on at 80%. i thought telewest was 6887? im not using a E2 box though so it could be that,regards mdt

i found a webpage with all the network ids with the symbolrates and it said bolton 41060 6887

but that must be out of date or virgin have done something with the network as 6952 pulls in more channels for me.
 
Using 6952 on my Vu+ ultimo with a cable tuner using vix brings in nearly 560 channels im on the Blackburn hub

On another note is it possible to get epg to populate properly on E2 or is there a epg data stream i can go to for the epg date i have tried PVR_EPG with no joy

i asked lraizer this already so all credit to him

the epgcache.cpp needs to be edited specifically for uk cable mask.pid 0x2bc best way he said was to add a new reader
