This is the information to build an openpli enigma2 image for dmm boxes (not clones but information for clone friendly will be added later if any interest is shown), vu boxes, and the et series (not tested).
Setup your linux environment, if using a vm or virtual box hdd must be at least 16gb then use the information here
OpenPli Ubuntu build howto
I use ubuntu 10.04 64bit
There will be source files missing just get them from here Index of /openpli-sources with the filename.whatever and the filename.md5 and put them in the sources folder, the error will tell you what file is unobtainable.
On my laptop running a virtualbox window it takes 30+ hours for the initial build later builds are much quicker, on my main machine running ubuntu natively it takes 78 minute (6 core with 8 gb of ram) so it is faster if you run dual boot on your machine than a vm/virtualbox environment from within windows.
