cws = to oscam

hi folks I have a question about oscam and cws lines,i have always used nlines and oscam but recently my payserver has been poor lots of freezing ,so I got a few test lines and tried them out and took a month sub on one of them which were in cws format and I put them in mgcamd and they work on one of my boxes zgemma 2s but cant get them to work on dm800se, what I want to know is can I put them in oscam which I am more familiar with below is an example of the lines I got 4 in total, is there a guide or thread on the site which explains how its done as I cant find one,thanks.

thanks digi247 i taught that only worked with nlines ,this is how i enter my nline in oscam

so is it just the same or do i change label or anything else,not at home now so it will be tomorrow before i try it,thanks.

Its identical the CWS = line is just another N: line

running openatv after trying openhd trying to set up oscam where do i put my line details tried the web but will not open oscam page cheers

hi digi247 no they wont work in oscam tried them on three boxes with oscam and nothing ,i will have to contact the payserver,thanks

They are N: lines as they have the key following the details which means originally they started with an N: all you payserver has done is remove the N: part and replaced with CWS = to save you the trouble, Oscam can emulate any other Cam so it will have no problem running those if they dont work then its something the user is inputting into oscam that is not making them work.

Oscam will emulate either Newcamd or Mgcamd for you

I only had them for 3 days so i contacted the paysever, i am not sure where he was from but he had very poor english so communication was hard and eventually i asked for a refund and got it,so i cant tell you what the problem was only that they wouldnt work in oscam on three different boxes where my previos nlines did work,so my search for a decent server goes on,thanks for your help.

You would also need to enable newcamd protocol in oscam.conf iirc

to be honest there is that many emulators now Oscam, MultiCS, ProxyCSP its hard to keep up with what does what these days LOL
