Oscam ?

What version is everyone using at the moment ?
I've been using a really old version in my dm500 that has my sky card in it for a couple of years but it's freezing quite bad now.

10043 quite old

newer isnt always better tried a few newer always end up back to trusted

not as good as it was but bearable for sure @ minute

meant to ask what setup are you using
oscam only
oscam/CCcam ??

networking here with oscam only seems solid
freezes with CCcam

Does it seem to do it more at the start of a program/on the hour eg 16:00 hours for example?

Yeah. Just a family server on dm500 but i am using oscam/cccam. Was wondering if it would work better if i updated oscam. Not had any luck so far when researching, other than it seems to maybe be something to do with the cache?

@alimac ,I've had a look for that version you are using and it says it's for a Blackhole enigma 2.
I'm running commando on the dm500 will it work on a enigma 1 ?

its available for all mate

currently use it with pli & openatv

not sure what best for commando

Wondering if trying mgcamd and adding the cline to cccamd.list may be better on the client side?
I will try this on mine but unsure what version is best 1.35 or 1.38?

dump CCcam would be first option

you basically unzip it and rename the existing as OLD and then replace. Unsure if you have to CHMOD 755 or not.

I downloaded version 10909 yesterday, for dreambox its powerpc-tuxbox if i remember correctly, seems to work fine and as mentioned just download it and stop oscam on dm500, rename existing Oscam in /var/bin/emu to oscamold or whatever you want, ftp the (unzipped) new Oscam to the location mentioned above, change attributes to 755 and reboot the dreambox, this worked first time for me. I use DCC (dreambox control centre 2.96) to ftp files, I did notice that the new Oscam file would not ftp accross when I tried it first, press on arrow and nothing happened, took me a while to figure it out but close dcc and reopen solves it.

Thanks installer i'll download that one and try it, hopefully it will stop the freezing problems.

I've downloaded the latest one at the weekend rather than that specific. Will let you know how it goes.

1.38 works well for me. can anyone help me, ive installed line no problem, ive also installed second line, but not sure if its up and running? is there somewhere i can see if my second line is also on?

temporarily remove the first line, if you still have picture its working, if you don't then its not..

yeh but im not sure if a second line needs to be put in multiple cws? anyway i have done it on cccam 2.1.4 now. where do you put ur line is oscam? and what do u name the file? anyone?
