Dont want to hijack the thread or take it off in a tangent, but I seem to recall a few years back that CCCAM wasnt the safest of Cams to use? I swear I remember reading, (on this here website), one of the Technomate gurus, (sorry cant remember his name), explaining why a client/server set up, (I think he used NewCS/MGCam as an example?), was a safer way to go? Is that still the case or has CCCam been 'improved'?

im not sure why but I use CCCam on Sat and MGCamd on Cable....most cable servers dont allow CCCam. I think it comes down to a lot of variants and what works best for each setup. some cams may zap quicker than others.
