can anyone help with my kryptview a780

Hi all i got a box today i pulled my cable in and lan line and did a search and it found all the channels but i can only watch fta channels. i did try and up date the firmware but nothing happened the current firmware in it is 26/04/2012 if that helps i know i can update via computer but my laptop is new and dont have the connection for the null modem cable. Any help would be great thanks

use usb serial converter

is the update on the box useless now and is this the only way i can do it now

is the box connected up to you router cart think the last time flashed one for someone the server might be down

yeah its connected to the internet when i go and update it the bar doesn't move and i have left it for 2 hours and still nothing

only takes minute or two you will have to flash it with serial converter or if eny one you no has old xp pc

what does flashing it mean putting update on manually?

yes putting firmware on the box its easy to do

much easier with a null modem cable and as said find an old pc with rs232 port,you missed a few updates and now box needs to be manually updated .

try lan update now as download server now working

firmware to old to update and thats why you need to check either on forums or by doing a monthly online update check.

How do find the servers for them to work or is just a firmware update and

yes just firmware update to connect to kv server
