Hi Guys, just tried downloading my tv shows that I normally get, and it shows up as site blocked due to court ruling on 1st of October 2013. Is there anywhere I can download tv shows from that will not be blocked?

Thanks

You looking for Newzgroups or torrents? & which shows are you after?

There are no guarantees that any torrent site or tracker isn't going to be blocked.

It's just a matter of staying on your toes and keeping one step ahead of the game.

I've got an invite for IPTorrents you can have (no charge)? If you take it you have to keep your ratio up there or else I get grief. No problem if you want it or not bothered. If you want it pm an email address & I'll send the invite.
They seem to have (at least) the latest episodes of the shows you mentioned.

You could also use xbmc. Mashup and 1stchannel have a great selection for tv.

which ISP are you using. VM and BT both use usenet servers that you can easily download the latest stuff from.

Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it but I would not want to be responsible for you getting grief. I only really dload tv programs so I can watch them when I'm ready. I have a really poor connection speed so I cant even stream them from sites like netflicks and the likes.

Thanks again for the offer.

court order has been issued stipulating that UK ISPs must block 21 websites the British Recording Music Industry (BPI)
says provide access to pirated music which includes FilesTube, 1337x, BitSnoop, ExtraTorrent, Monova,
TorrentHound, Torrentreactor and Torrentz.eu.

The sites must be blocked by today 30 October according to an order by a High Court judge and include a host of aggregator sites.

Interestingly these are not all classic "torrent sites". FilesTube,
for example provides a way to search for files hosted on sites such as Mega,
RapidShare and Mediafire; Torrentz is an aggregator of aggregators allowing users to search the directories
of many torrent hosting sites in one go such as Monova and Isohunt.

BPI is the trade association that represents the interests of the British record industry and was responsible for the shutdown
of The Pirate Bay in the UK in 2012 as we saw then BPI's tactics are often a little short lived.
Shortly after five major ISPs were forced to block the site after a similar High Court ruling Pirate Bay told its users to use VPN servers,
DNS tweaks and the Tor Browser Bundle, before launching a mirror image version of the site from a new IP address.

That proxy site was also eventually shutdown after individual members of the Bay were personally threatened with legal action by BPI,
a move permitted under the Digital Economy Act it was a sign that the association had begun to realise no amount of legal shutdown notices
would terminate the problem.

Today however seems to be a sign of renewed effort on the BPI's part with the biggest number of sites targeted in one go to date.
"We asked the sites to stop infringing copyright but unfortunately they did not and we were left with little choice but to apply to the Court
where the judge considered the evidence and declared that ISPs should not serve access to them " BPI chief executive Geoff Taylor said in a statement.
Virgin and BT have already stated they will comply with the court order as is expected.

Operating on two fronts BPI is also putting pressure on Google to rank sites such as these lower in its search results.
In a previous speech Taylor said: "I don't think it's enough for Google to sit back and say, tell me each illegal file one by one and we'll remove the results.
If Google is clever enough to teach a computer to think even if only about cats it's clever enough when it has been told more 150,000 times
that The Pirate Bay is illegal to rank that site below Amazon and iTunes when consumers search for music."

The Full List Of Sites Is As Follows:
Abmp3, BeeMP3, Bomb-Mp3, FileCrop, FilesTube, Mp3Juices, eMp3World, Mp3lemon, Mp3Raid, Mp3skull, NewAlbumReleases,
Rapidlibrary, 1337x, BitSnoop, ExtraTorrent, Monova, TorrentCrazy, TorrentDownloads, TorrentHound, Torrentreactor and Torrentz

If you use firefox there is an addon called "One Click Proxy" it will get round your ISP blocking of various sites.

It's dead simple to use just click on the button on the toolbar and turn the proxy on, then enter the site you want to use, download your torrents, and click and turn off again when your finished.

There's also the "hide my ass" addon if you're a Chrome user.
