Hi, I have a Samsung LE32A446 and I have replaced the capacitors with no luck.

There is no clicking sound either, so the problem lies elsewhere. I got the TV from my brother in law who had tried to change two of the 4 caps but given up. When I got it home, it actually worked, but only a couple of times. So I replaced all 4 caps, switched it on only to see a red blinking dot on the button and a very faint sound as if of something charging up (the caps?). Anyhow, I gave up and left it in the basement for a week, then I brought it up again today after reading about a similar issue on this site. I looked around really carefully on the boards, but all seems fine. Then I tried to turn it on, and it worked, I turned it on one more time with the button in front, It worked, but on the third time all was back with only the faint sound again.
My question is: Could it be the eprom, if so one of the two on the attached image, or on another board?
Apparently the TV needs some time off alone (several days perhaps) to be able to switch itself on when plugged in. Is this because the eprom(s) need time to forget, or is it something else that needs a fresh start?
Hope someone can help.

Seen simular prob before, I did the cap fix to no avale. Once I had the power board out I did some googling with that part number, and found a site explaining a known fault. Cant remember the name of the component, but its the 3 legged ones attached to the heat sinks. they get very warm over the years and the soilder joints can become dry. I ran my iron over them with some soilder and hey presto, back working.

Not saying its the fix for yours, but its cheap and easy to try
