Hdmi - dvi

ok on my plasma i have a dvi connection & audio input stereo jack socket, iv got a phono to jack lead on hand and a HDMI -DVI lead somewhere in here that ill dig out if need, can i connect a HD reciever to plasma with the dvi lead and take the audio from reciever to plasma from the audio out from the scart connection to the jack input on plasma,, will this work ??

should to as long as the scart is actually outputting a signal while the dvi is active. more than likely it will work mate.

I havent listened using the speakers on my TV since before EASTENDERS started broadcasting; havent you got a HiFi you can feed the audio through??
