I have to be honest and say that I don't really like these all in one solutions, especially when they are advertised at 850w when in reality they would barely push out 20w of good sounding audio.

Feature wise you couldn't connect a BR player as this device does not feature 5.1 analogue inputs or HDMI in. It's doesn't even have optical or spdif in for DTS or ProLogigII.

I'm sorry I can't really advise on all in one solutions because I have no experience with them. If you want some advice on buying hifi separates in order to achieve the same goal I could help. Your starting budget would be appx £300 but the sound would be in a different league.

thanks munkey
i didnt really like the system myself, i was just trying to use my br player
i have about £300/350 so i can upgrade to a better system or if you could pm me a link for speaker system
is it easily linked up to your tv to get the full t?
thanks

Does your BR player decode HD audio? Does it have 5.1 pre outs? If it does this looks like a nice bargain.

That would leave you with £200 for speakers which must really be auditioned regardless of the price.

I've seen M&K K4 tripoles sell for £90-100 brand new on ebay. Throw in a M&K sub at £70 (second hand) and you'll have an awesome budget home cinema sound system.
