list is made as close as possible to AJs so you don't need to get used to different channel orders.
Screen shot will show channel order.

Looking for channel list equivalent to AJ's. have tried CWaites but the TV guide doesn't populate properly and i don't like channel numbers.

That list is vertually the same as AJs.

AJ doesn't make channel lists anymore.
You will see the order I put them in with the photo I added in post #1

channels start from 1 just as AJ did.
(NOT 101)
So if your used to AJs list then above update will do.

everything is fixed up till the date it was posted.
Not much changes since.
Apart from....
sly sports darts and sly movies Star Wars.

Thanks for that. sounds good. Will the TV guide populate fully ? On CWaites there is nothing on Ch5, Dave, Gold & several others. I understand +1 being empty but not the main channel.

From memory the EPG was always hit and miss on openboxes with different channel lists.
I don't use them anymore I just dig my old openbox out of the cupboard now and again when I'm bored and fix channels.

that should fix EPG but "WONT FIX CHANNELS"
you will probably need memory key empty and FAT32 format.

Hi river4ever: Yeah that is the programme guide I use already with memory stick, just whenever I tried CWaites list the channels I mentioned don't have any content on the guide. When I use AJ's it is only any +1 channels that are missing.

Hi river4ever. You say here you don't use the open box due to issues with channel lists. Are the channel lists more reliable on different boxes ?

I never said I don't use openboxes due to channel list issues.
Openboxes are as basic you can get and things have moved on from openboxes.
I have enigma2 box and never need channel updates.
Also have the option to record one channel while watching another. Pause/rewind and so on.

Openboxes are good wee boxes for £30.
But after care is needed with channel lists. For an extra £30 you get what is in the link below.

But the channel list I uploaded in post #1 will fix any issues that are invalid or blank screens on openboxes.

My apologies. Misinterpretation in my reply. I was only trying to associate the conversations between open box and channel list issues that you had mentioned in an earlier post.
I can't download the channel list you uploaded anyway but was just curious about what you had replaced your open box with.

You might need a bit of support setting it up. But it is fairly easy.

Anyone looking for an excellent channel list with numbers starting at 1 look no further. This is the one you need. All channels including +1's populated on xmltv guide. something you don't get with any other channel lists i've tried and I'm sure i've tried them all.
Wipes the floor with the rest.

Any channel movements of great importance I will fix.
Usually upload channel list once a month or sooner if there's important channel movement.

Just check in openbox (download section) if or when your needing update.

Hi. Just organising my favourites. I don't suppose you know which number correlate to each region for ITV, CH4 etc ? Specifically looking for Tyne & Wear area channels.

Have a look at the end of list when sat list is "all" or check "regions".

I will check it tomorrow if it's not there I will fix it on next update.

They are all there but not all of them have region after channel.

I've sussed it for now by adding all to my favourites, checking TV guide for regional news / programmes, deleting what's not my region then organising what's left.
