Can this be applied to a cloud Ibox 2 Plus

Hi, would this also work on the ibox 2 plus se. Having trouble finding something for se model.

Thanks for the reply, was hoping it would as I can't get anything to run on my 2 plus se. Think it's time to bin it and start with something more upto date.

You do not always need new images just one that works fine which there is plenty for that box.

Have you tried different usb sticks if images are not flashing?

I think all the ones on cloud-ibox site should be fine for that box.

No way throw it away even on older images it's still a alright box much better then the open/sky box

My troubles started when I tried to update my original Vix 3.0 something image to the latest one on cloud site. Flashed ok but couldn't ftp to it, no connection error. Flashed then with openatv but got stuck on load. Wish I'd left it alone cos it was working fine.
Oh well, keep trying lol.

Thanks for that but I think I have the last boot loader installed already and I managed to get an old Vix apollo 131 flashed to my ibox. It's a bit outdated but at least it works.

Yeah that is the latest and so should work with the latest images.

Have you tried removing the CFE.bin from the cloudix folder ?

Ok so if I get new image from ibox.net and remove CFE.bin file then it should work?
Was able to flash latest Vix image but couldn't ftp my line to the box so was no use.

In theory yes.

Maybe you should of explored the ftp connection issue on the image that did flash.

Thanks for the help Ferret, taken your advice and got latest vix up and running but cannot connect to the box to ftp my newcamd file. When I go into setup-system-network-FTP setup, autostart is enabled but current status is Stopped. Pressing green button to start does nothing.
Is there any other way to get my line onto the box??

When you go into network setting run the test ?

Whats it come back with and are you connected directly to a router that allows DHCP

Got lan connection everything's green ticked connected, dhcp enabled.

Ok, cracked it. Not my work other than hours on The great Google.
No ftp needed. From box plugins download Filebrowser to your box.
this gives you 2 panels of what's on the box I.e root directory.
Put your mg_cfg and newcamd.list files onto a USB stick and put it in the rear port.
Open Filebrowser, the right panel is box root.
Use next and prev buttons on remote to switch between the panels.
Press next on remote to go to right panel and scroll to "usr" then "keys". This opens keys folder.
Press prev on remote (left panel) and scroll to open usb/hdd, you should see your files, highlight one at a time and press yellow button to copy.
This put your files into keys folder where they need to be.
Exit out, remove stick and reboot.
Job done, hope this helps anyone who wants newer image where the ftp function has been disabled.
Thanks to all for sticking with me and giving me a bit of hope.
