ok, so far, so good! i cant do the cable side cos i dont have the rf adaptor. ill get it tmrw. sat side running sweet as. just waiting on cross epg to finish.

Crossepg not downloading matey. Keeps freezing the box and not finishing the download. Settings are all set to usb stick. Done all the usual. Is there a trick I've missed?

Try swapping crossepg8.1 for the older 6.2 version mate the H boxes thinks the 2nd tuner is sat aswell and crashes when changing tuner to download info whereas the older version just uses the tuner its on

whats the Crossepg set for Rytec or OpenTV, never had a problem here with either i use 8.1 with Opentv for sat and rytec for cable

im wondering, is there a preferance on the usb stick of what format to have it on? maybe the box doesnt like say fat32?

OK, i went back to 5.0. got it working a treat. crossepg too. i tried a few other images too. 5.0 works a treat for me.

any idea why tsmedia seems so slow on this box ? im used to the solo2 but will an image with less plugins or more basic skin speed things up ? thanks

NO! absolutely never in a million years your switching from a Dual core 1300mhz processor to a single core 750mhz processor dont expect miracles

hi please help I've got the openvix with sly skin on my star 2s. but have a h1 that i want to put the vm skin on. do i do it just the same by flashing with a usb or do i have to do something different to get the vm? any help would be much appreciated

By the sound of it mate the s2 image you flashed was a backup with the sly skin installed.

Im not aware of a backup with the VM skin so you may have to install the skin onto the vix image.
