What is the best way to update drivers?

Assuming your current image uses the xbmc drivers (some don't) then I would telnet in and do "init 4", then using newer patched drivers FTP them to "/lib/modules/3.13.5/extra"

Then finally do "init 6" in telnet to restart receiver.

I did the init 4 command but after connecting with FTP I'm getting critical file transfer error. Any idea what could be the issue?

Are you using one of my uploads, openvix, or maybe you have write-protected the drivers yourself?

If so, then you will need following telnet commands:

You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

Keep telnet open and now using likes of FileZilla FTP the 6 drivers over to "/lib/modules/3.13.5/extra/"
Once you have done this go back to telnet and use following commands:

If you accidently close telnet session between first lot of telnet commands and the second lot then repeat it all again because the write-protection of drivers would not have worked.
