Hi Ferret

So I downloaded the files and ftpd it.

However, when i restarted the receiver all I'm getting is a message on the receiver dashboard saying "Starting..." and nothing is happening, blank screen?

Any ideas?

Guess your on an older image and the drivers are for a newer kernel.

If you can still FTP not sure youll be able to then replace with original drivers.

If you can not FTP youll need to reflash.

I am trying to reflash, but the box doesn't start up.

I have followed the flash guidance, and now switched on the box with the usb in and the box does nothing. All it says is "starting...". I left it overnight, and still the same message...

Reformat the USB stick with the hp format tool and then try again. Try another usb stick if the problem persists.

Hi I've done both, reformatted and changed usb and reformatted the new usb on fat32 on HP. Still persisting...

Ok I didn't structure the folders curretly on the usb. It is now reading the USB...will keep you posted!

Maybe its the new drivers I installed, is there any way I can reinstall the ones I had previously? (Now how do I find out which ones I had previously?) hmm.

I doubt its the drivers your not running a clone.

This error UBIFS Update is usually a problem with the usb stick.

Hi guys I have tried 3 different USBs, but I am getting the same message!!?

I had the same message, I've taken out my usb and now the dashboard is flashing "update complete" - I have to say, I am BAFFLED!

you using hp usb.format tool forming to fat32
