This is a very old image use a more recent one.

1. Download the USB version of any image.

2. Unrar and send the vuplus folder to your USB stick.

3. Turn off the power at the back of the VU+ you'll find the switch near the power cable. Insert your USB stick in the front USB port.

4. Turn back on the power.

5. On seeing the prompt update on front display press the power button.

On the front display you'll see reading USB device, this takes a while then you'll see erasing then programming.

It will then tell you to remove USB and reboot. Reboot with the power switch at the back.

What image did you flash ?

If VIx then as well as starting the cam you need to select enable at startup or after a reboot the cam is not active if you dont.

It is the openatv 5.0.... I think I've just found it in info panel..... Love this image btw

Ah right... I was putting it in etc/ file.... I'll try that now....

Ferret you're a proper legend

I don't suppose you know if the plug-in for bob light works on this image do you Ferret

Do you think it may work if I load it up through local extension

I would install that plugin via telnet mate and the opkg update command.

What light setup are you running with it ?

The renamed it on later versions to Enigma Light

I had boblight on my previous vu+ duo but never properly set it up... It felt complicated.... Lol...
But I normally use them on my pc....
