Just installed this on to Rats image you sugested yesteray, mgcamd not showing under softcams so cant enable.

Please link to the images your using so i can give you the correct version of mgcamd, this version was for OE1.6 i guess your using a later oe2.0 version so please tell us which and ill upload.

Hi mate, I have got this far, I have installed "DigitalWorldz BackUp 28.2.14 DM800se 84dl, I have downloaded via plugins mgcamd 35a dls, I could not install manually the mgcamd file you recomended.

The cam is now showing in softcams and I have enabled it, I have replaced the Newcam. list. example with my own Newcamlist. When I select a scrambled channel my server line shows on the bottom of the screen but the box crashes. Many thanks for your help so far, I had it working fine back in 2012 on Rats original backup image but not now.

After 3 days of trying its safe to say it does not work on pli4

Did you install the pli 4.0 version of emulator?

Yes I used this one "MGcamd 1.3.5a Openpli " as advised on here but no joy I'm afraid

No, I did not ask if you used a pli version, I asked if you used a pli 4.0 version.

Please download the 4.0 version if not done already.

Mgcamd 1.35a has been modified to work with the new ssl1.0 in OpenPli 4.0 " , correct ?

A friendly suggestion, rather than name a file, link to the file.
The pli 4.0 version is at following link.
MGCamd 1.35a for OpenPli 4.0 - Downloads - Digitalworldz

It may beb an idea for you to start it by telnet and post any errors. Also post your configs.

Just to clear up the confusion the file here is a mipsel file so it is for use with oe1.6 images only, for OE2.0 images you needs a mipsel32 file or tarball.

Pli 4 is OE 2.0. So you should be fine.
