The image attached is one uploaded by gjstroom on another forum but with a few extras installed by myself. See his notes further down. I am not a coder, you are using this image at your own risk. Base image was 20130312 but I did an online update on 14/03/13 @ 03:10. Any credit for the image should go to him and the authors/contributors of the added plugins. Lraizer,Andyblac, Rat, Mick, Subixonfire, Rogerthis, Digidude, AliAbdul,Coolman,Mfaraj57,Vhannibal and any others who I may have missed out.

The only minor issue I had was that the HDD showed up as read only. This was fixed by changing file properties using Filezilla and rebooting.

After flashing image, remove the power lead before switching back on

I have added the following plugins.

Lraizer’s Autobouquets 28.2 (Region is currently set to London HD, autorun has not been enabled)
Rats’ Updater
BBC Iplayer v3
ITV player
CCcam info v1.3c
Cool TV guide v 6.4
CrossEPG downloader. (open TV 28.2 enabled)
NFI image tools for backing up image.
CCcam 2.21
Mgcamd 1.35a

Bouquet loaded is Vhannibal motorised 10/03/13 edited to have 28.2 at top. I have also run AB 28.2 on top of this.

OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm800-DAILYBUILD by gjstroom

New image with SIM2 SSL84b and 'tweaked' 20120216 drivers.
I also included the new OpenPLi 3.0 bootlogo's, they have a nice fresh 'look'.
It looks like the DM800 doesn't get a OpenPLi 3 update because the lack of cpu power.


This image is a 100% build image from OpenPLi source, it uses tweaked 0216 drivers, which runs all plugins without patching.
You can use the update function, but if the PLi team switches to a new driver or ssl you may end up with a non functional box (which is an easy fix).
Check the PLi openembedded shortlog to be sure !

There's no active development for OpenPLi 2.1 any longer. Pli's customized Enigma2 is still maintained and is present in this image.

Image flashing:
Be sure you have SSL84 on your box, if you get the "INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION)" error, flash SSL84 first and try again.
If your box is already at SSL84x you can flash the image immediately, the new SSL84b is included in the image !
Internet Explorer (recommended)

Powercycle after flashing. (i.e you must remove power lead)

I have not tried downloading with it. I should really upload a newer image, but not sure if it will offer anything more than the one by Alli.
 
Can the ts panel be downloaded from the dm 800,
 
the download function works fine now

if the tspanel is in the downloads then yes but its not always there mate

you could always manual install

personally would avoid it
 
I have been searching for a good image for days, Finally found this, No messing with this image at all, Cccam and autobouquets installed.

Just a couple of questions.

I downloaded the first link, Whats fixed in the newer link under that.

Also, I had a look through the skins, are there any that show snr, db, and Cccam. I was using nemesis 2.4 and it showed satellite,provider,encryption picons.

I tryed uploading picon through filezila, should be media, usb,but theres no usb

Nothing, it is just the way the forum software works. When I initially uploaded it, I forgot the closed bracket to highlight the fact that you need to remove power cable and then reconnect it. I edited it last night, all I did was add [/u]. When the thread is edited, it flags that it has been updated.

You should be able to go into options and then enable the 2nd info bar/ecm details.

I don't think we should be able to discuss in here. This is meant to be the download, there is the thread discussion where discussions were meant to be. Hopefully @Mick and @Rat can fix what I broke.

Does this image have the subtitles on everything you reboot the box. I am using a Gjstroom image at the minute but always have to turn off subtitles after a reboot which is very ignoring?
 
I have just download the image and everything is working fine but there is no sound on the HD channel. i was wondering if anyone knows why?
 
I sorted the issue out with the HD channels. I hint the help buttom on the remote and went to audio options and pressed the green buttom to enable sound./
I also just want to point out this is a very good image, but i had an issue with the bbciplayer aswell. I had to delete the plugin and then FTP the attached version to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions//usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions//usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/.

Hi Everyone
I am trying to use NFI image plugin to create a backup NFI on my internal HDD but can't seem to do so. Does anyone know if there is an issue with this plugin on this image?
Can anyone recommend a different plugin it this is the case?

Id use dflash mate.

Most of us would use dflash to backup OpenPLI
 
Can I pm you, I'd like to use this as a base for my new cable image if that's cool with you?

Go ahead. Please update the BBC Iplayer as well as the HD channel issue that someone reported.

However, it would be better to use a later image from GJstroom for online updates etc.
 
Will that work well with sim SSL84B mart? if so do you have a link?
