There is info and the stuff you need in the sat rooms and downloads. Have a good read through do some useful posting and you will get it fixed

Trust me I have done all the reading possible and nothing has helped. I would not be here otherwise. Forums are always a last resort when all else fails. I am unable to connect to the box via http or serial connection. Patched version does not work either. Thanks for your help though Very helpful indeed

use crossover cable connect router to laptop
open dreamup
connect null modem
connect power to dreambox while holding silver power button till dreamup has fully loaded
find IP of box (i used dcc)
put this in dreamup
open enforcer
load image and flash No luck
absolutely certain that I am using the correct cables. I have tested the exact same setup and flashed my dreambox dm600 PVR more than once without a problem. This is real strange, like I said, I have even tried soldering the cables to the usb to serial from the dreambox and same thing. It's as though the serial connection on the box is dead, I have checked it though and see no
Problems... Jtagging this box might allow me to flash it but can't find a tutorial anywhere!
I have tried many dreamup versions including sunray, Dreamup patched, 1.3.3.2 etc etc etc and not one of them seem to work. I have tried the same null cable on a old dreambox I had laying around and it connects no problem. All I want is to be able to flash an image onto the box in order to get it working once again. Would a jtag be possible. There is not much online that has helped the problem today so as a last resort I turn to my trusted friends here at digitalworldz!

This summary "tutorial" to explain how to fix a DM800 not booting with the code "ERROR01 : NO CA FOUND" on the screen.
Cause of the error:
- bad flash
- official image flashed
-> ERR01 : NO CA FOUND
What doesn't work anymore:
- no boot
- no network connection
- no possible image upgrade
- DreamUp unable to upgrade even with serial cable
Solution:
1) Use DreamUp Patched with serial cable
2) Choose COM1, connect, power ON and wait
3) After a few seconds the screen will come back with an IP address
4) Type in that address in IE
5) Flash first a BootLoader (sim201_ssl84b.nfi(If this is your bootloader)6) reboot and hold power button
7) Wait for IP to appear on screen
8)Type in that address in IE
9) Flash your desired image

i tried the link you gave nufc and eset stops you saying dodgy site nothing against you but others should be told just in case

I am close to jtagging this box. Keep your eyes on this thread as I will be updating very soon with a tutorial. So far I have managed to find the box with an xbox nand x nand flasher and the only thing holding me back here at the moment is compatible software for the flash!
No links to forums of a similar nature or to sellers,as per forum rules,please

With regards to nand-x, I doubt you will have much luck as Tiros never released the code. USBJTAGNT, JR-P or Wiggler may be more promising. I personally would try a proper serial port first.
