Anyone got a sonos setup here ?

I was thinking about getting myself two one for the kitchen and one for my bedroom.

I have been reading up about them and they look really good :)

I do them, they are magical and you definatly want one. I was planning a review but may have to do it in a few parts. It is not quite hi fi and not quite a music streamer but something inbetween. Essentialy you can start with one or more and you are cooking. It will recognise shared files on computers, itunes and has many streaming services available (most subscription based) last fm is of course free of charge. You dont need to buy the £280 controller as ipods / ipads have a free app that does the same thing and android tablets and phones can use the unofficial but pretty good andronos app. It also comes with controller software for pc/mac that works fine under wine in linux and unix environments. Sound quality is great

I was looking at the BU250 bundle it looks very nice.

I have a HTC desire, so am I thinking I could use that to control it too ?

Very nice, out of curiosity what speakers are you planning to use with the ZP120 and what system are you planning to plug the zp90 into?

The andronos android app is fine for now until sonos code their own one (no plans as of yet) I struggled to get napster working properly on it and as its not supported by the coder anymore spotify will not work either. Playlists that you set up with the cr200 will be fine though. I also have a desire so can confirm full compatibility. You will find prices are about the same everywhere as there is hardly any markup on the price, the idea is that retailers charge for install but as installation is piss easy there arent many takers.

One of your zoneplayer units needs to be plugged to your network physically. If this is a no go you can get the zonebridge to connect to your router and get all your other sonos online. It is the only system that I have used that really lives up to the name plug and play

Yeah I have been working it out in my head lol.

I want to put the 120 in the kitchen (i have a pair off eggs) as I can get a cat6 cable to it easily with out seeing wires, and wanted to put the 90 in the bedroom as this will supply my onkyo av amp.

Cheers
Mickie
