i can view my channels on the box down stairs now that i have entered the bk but how do i share that with another box upstairs??

example of my f & c

downstairs
F: user pass

upstairs
C: 192.168.10.11 12000 user pass

still cant receive, any ideas what i am doing wrong here (something silly)

is your ip address not just 192.168.1.11 for the box upstairs, everything else seems right mate!

no m8
downstairs box ip = 192.168.10.11
upstairs box ip= 192.168.10.15

not really sure then mate, im still in the process of sorting mine out too, but the rest seems right,sum1 else will help though!

Them ip's look wrong m8,
Is your routers ip 192.138.1.x or 192.168.0.x ?

If so then your box's ip should be in the same range i.e. 192.168.1.10 or 192.168.0.10

i think you may need to add this line to your server config:

SERVER LISTEN PORT: 12000

Ok m8 just never come across a router that wasn't either 192.168.1.x or 192.168.0.x,

other then that it looks fine m8 so I'm stumped,
telnet in to the downstairs box and see if you can ping the other box

i have config the router to my specs m8 and yes i can connect to both boxes on the browser

Ok m8 well you've lost me so lol,

I suppose you have the nameserver and gateway set to the routers ip address?

have a check and make sure the cccam info on both boxes is correct!

well what a dick i am!

i was using an old virgin cable that was already plumbed in upstairs and forgot all about the splitter being on the line!!!
but it was working for the free channels(bbc, itc etc) anyway all working now
you live and learn
