Using SSSP & Null Modem cable connected to receiver

With this tool your TM Receiver must always be plugged to your computer via your 9 Pin Null Modem Cable

Here how it works

Plug your Pc to Your TM Receiver (It is compatible with USB To serial for Laptop's)

1.Unpack
2. start CILQUER ICI .exe
3. Depending on your STB you may need to enable SSSP in your receiver Menu or just change channel to activate sssp on TM1500

Added Bulsat via Vplug


I have configured CILQUER ICI to communicate with : SBCL v1.0i

So for the moment we have

Bulsat open via public Keys[/FONT][/B]

using SSSP & Null Modem cable connected to receiver
Save & unpack the attachment below

1. run CILQUER ICI
2. open folder SBCL_ vpulg
3. run SBCL v1.0i
4. check to see if vplug is active (ticked)

some model receivers require you to enable sssp in receiver menu or a simple channel change enables sssp.

Should this still be working ? Finally got hold of a keyspan usb serial adaptor for tm6900 non super & everything seems to be as it should (no com port error) but not clearing jsc sport 13e or bulsat 39e.

You may nee to set the Default Ecm Pid

On my old TM 1500 it was imperative as i'm using the latest p firmware, previous firmware doesn't require you to select the Ecm pid!
EG:
9797>
042400 ok>
exit>
settings were changed>
yes to save exit
(i needed to do this on all Jsc sports channels)

can the sbcl program be used with other newcamd server details?

Yes it can. you can add other newcamd servers. But i find sbcl not a very good util. I like hdvb more. Of course with sbcl you can use vplug and have emu which is not available on the Technomate.(mostly TM has the EMU that Vplug has ..)
Look up the HDVB thread from Compass & Wolftje, Some interesting stuff in there .... !

hi chaps i'm not very upto date on this though i am trying
i have a tm 5400 ci usb i've added the new patch and softcam to open bulsat and the odd few but what does sssp open is it worth me doing it

I would suggest to start reading a bit about SSSP before hopping in
WIth SSSP you connect by using a serial nullmodem cable towards your pc/laptop and
run nice tools that will let you benefit from Emu not available on TM together with vplug or run tools that will let you connect towards internal/external network(Gbox, newcamd, CCcam, etc ....)

thanks mate i'm a bit closer to cracking this heres where i am now theres such a limited amount of information out there for the 5400
i have connected the cable downloaded fausto but cannot seem to connect
i have also realised that you have to press 9797 from my remote to activate sssp so there you have it i've been reading up for the past week now

I have never used fausto but I thought this was mainly used together with a season interface ?

What would you like to achieve ?
