Site Splitting up.

The site will be split up into two sections in the coming week.

We will have a general section and a TEchnical section of course you already know everything lol

But just to help you out with what will happen I will try and explain.

Another thing to mention before rambling on is that I will be removing the java script buttons under the logo they are never used and we will be designing something better to use for the forums.

OK here goes:

There will be some kind of menu that will allow you to switch between the technical forums and the general sections,

We will include all technical sections like cable, satellite, pc probs, phones etc.

And in the general sections it will be all the rest IE
introduction, bargains, sports, etc.

Feel free to ask questions if you like I will try and answer them all.

awwww really.....i kinda liked scrolling down and seeing chats from all walks of life, now I'm gonna end up stuck in the tech section, lol, and that means another click of the mouse to get back to the general chat?.....i think it's best left the way it is me like, so i can scroll down and jump in the section i wanna....., and then all the other sections if i wanna, and then at the same time scroll back up and chat to some one having problems with there watering baskets...

my tuppence though.....

CAnnot stay like that because the SEO is rubbish because the main page has no real content because of to much forums.

We are growing and so is the site, nearly all big sites have dual sections because they need to keep the content as real as possible

ah well i agree, it's just when I'm clicking away at work and the staff are all on the phones i guess it's going to have to be something they get used to, lol, I've told them that logging into BACS takes a lot of effort, I'll just tell em that they have introduced more security measures...lol

I think it's a great idea I personally think the tech side of things here have suffered over recent times due to general discussions and just chit chat off topic threads that happen most of the time lol

Having not been on the site for a while due to no internet, I think its a good idea especially for those with slow internet (like when I actually do get it) cos helps loading of pages.

Just a thought, the special forums, you thought of having a third button to reflect this? Maybe thats fine tuning a little too much, dunno.
