View BBC interactive channels

Not sure if this is already known but i just got it working on my TM, Load your channel list in "Dreambox Edit"

then find.
STREAM-0
to
STREAM-6

these are the 7 channels BBC use to broadcast video for the "RED button"

you now need to change them to "TV" service type,
Right Click the STREAM-0 > Show/Edit Details > Service Type > "and change the number from 130 to 1." > click Save

do the same for the rest of the channels then save the edited list and ftp it back to the TM then restart/reboot..
now just load the channels like you would any other.

does anyone know of other "data" channels that are actualy video ?

all of the sky sports multi screens from the red button are available in the same way m8, ill have a look for the details

a quick google found this

1-9 on 11.758 H are labelled

1481-1489

10-18 on 10.936 V are labelled

1471-1478 and a blank

There is one other blank which may appear in the radio section which is not part of the indivdual channels on the mux.

You will find another 9 channels labelled 1481-1489 as well on 11.758 H, and 1391-1399 on 10.936 V, but these are not the individual channels, rather the actual aplication streams with multi audio options. The second batch of numbers per transponder are the individual Video/audio pairings.

Its the streams that you'd normally see when you "press the RED button" on a providers box. Different angles, matches etc

The sports botique already has the interactive chanels , but you still need to change the 130 ->1 ( so it is now tv) for each one in the channels ( as per the above post ) .

Just found that Stream-1 to Stream-6 don't show once altered via DBE and added to a Bouquet on a TM600. Had to rename them in the Bouquet to BBC_Int1 - BBC_Int6 and then they showed up.

didgi cant seem to find these chanels on me channel list which i ftp from tm600 to dream edit i (11758/27500/H 2/3 (1381 to 1389) (1481 to 1489)Football First ) i thought id scanned this transponder but maybe i wasnt successfull

can some one tell me how to scan step by step i went to manual transponder scan then put them details in 11758/27500/H and scanned then ftp to dream edit any help much appreciated

Have you done a single Sat Auto Scan\Search yet? Takes no more than 15 mins on 28.2 (or whatever it is).

In case you didn't know -

- Menu,
- Setup (6),
- Satellite Install & TP Edit(2)
- Auto Satellite Search (5)
- Eurobird\Astra2A/2B/2D (28.2E) should be highlighted, press OK which alters the screen slightly,
- Scroll down to Start Scan - click OK

Wait for it to finish (about 15 mins) - click OK when it says Scan Finished.

It will ask you if you want to do Another SCan - select No!

Your services.xml (or whatever it is) should be updated. Pull it off via DreamBox Edit and they'll be there. Should also Add Sly Thriller & Mdn Grts in case those are out of date on yours.

Has anyone done this for the Sky Sports multiscreen channels on 19.2e?

Reason i ask is, i have gone through the process of changing any data channels to a 1 (tv channel) and then saving the services file and ftp'ing it back to the TM600 and rebooting the TM600, but once i do this my channel list hasn't even changed

thanks raving looney for some reason i cant find these numbers on the service list on the left hand side of dream edit (1481 to 1489Football First) but ive noticed channels appeared now called sport interactive are they the football first ones mate ? thanks for your help ! looked on tv and can see sly sports things going on

If they don't appear then they aren't in there - you'll need to scan (as per my post) for them to appear in there.

Once you scan - they should be there, and then if you follow the instructions in the link I sent you, you should be good to go.

Is there any reason why after following the instructions here, I can only get either audio and no picture or a 'goal alert', or the multi screen?

That means you did it right lol

There does be various things on them depending on their schedule
