I'm a massive darts fan have been since I was a kid when Harry Heenan (R.i.p) the scottish darts player taught me to play in the pub he owned ( Glaswegian ) wasn't a great pupil lol . Anyway I sit and watch both the PDC and the BDO and I know the PDC IS A HIGHER LEVEL but the PDC players not all off them need to remember that this is where the sport started and give it a little respect it bugs me hearing bristow slag off players like Durrant waites the likes these players are good players and better still don't put the sport in a bad light . The money might be greater but I don't care I love them both and bristow should learn to shut the feck up

you can probably call me a massive darts fan ..... as you I like watching both the PDC and BDO.

but the last few years its getting harder and harder to watch the PDC because of the bloody crowd singing songs like ( boring tables and that yaya song ) its too repetitive and it gets right on my nerves, am I just getting older lol ....

the coverage of the BDO is a little behind the times but I like the crowd better, they seem to be more interested in the darts and the players and definitely know more about there darts and the players.

bristow is just a sour old man ignore him, I do lol ............

Bristow, even though a great darts player. He's always been a bit of an outspoken nob. :)

True he is a muppet . Saying that I'm not a fan of chris mason either . I seen taylor saying he might retire at the end of this season . That would be a shame as he is still better than 95 % of the players . Peter wright is another one he is great player but all the rubbish that goes with it bores me . Would love to see the premier league darts take top 8 PDC and top 8 BDO players in this .

I like both as well, but the pdc is far more entertaining and a much better standard. In football terms pdc is premier league, bdo is Scottish premier league

Taylor set the bar simply because he put the time and effort in with the practice and it paid off big style. One thing I don't like about the BDO is the TV coverage, well actually the sound of the dart hitting the board, like a massive boom haha. Always been the same. Keep thinking about entering one of the open tournaments see what sort of standard I am.
