Always wanted to get into paragliding ever since I stood on top of Snowdon and saw a couple of guys flying around.
Just when I thought I had the best view, I wondered what it would be like from where they were.
Anyone fancy teaching an old dog new tricks?

Not for me mate, I hate heights! (I tell customers that when I'm working on their satellite dishes 6 floors up lol!) but I can imagine it would give you a tremendous sense of freedom, not to mention the spectacular views you would get.
Make sure you get a Go-Pro type camera and share some images with us when you do make it up there :)

Invest in a quadcopter/drone instead. You'll get the view without the exertion and dangers.

That's my fear- coming into contact with said 'ground' at high speed. I am no adrenaline junkie, but I do sort of understand the attraction/thrill.

It's got to be an age thing. I used to shin up a drainpipe to sort an aerial rather than fetch a ladder. Enjoyed abseiling, now I go out of my way to find a dropped kerb.

Don't want to be pedantic but it's the sudden stop...

...ground causes it, obviously. ;)

Just in case anyone's palms need moistening with regards heights...

That guy can't be wired up right. Why would anyone want to risk their life like that :(

I haven't even clicked the play button- just the still image turns my insides.

He also runs and walks across those beams while juggling. He then hangs off one of the cross bars with one hand. The last bit of the video is coming back down on the rickety little ladder on the side, some of which is held on by a thin rope.

I watched another version on my new 4k tv, felt even sicker. He had to climb nearly 30m up a small diameter armoured cable? just to reach the ladder

I've seen that one too, there is no ladder at the bottom of the chimney LOL.

I thought you were joking - so I watched it for myself. Even though I'm sitting safely indoors my knees are still trembling...
