Hello All
Just thought I'd show some pics of my hobby .
Built with my own hands from the bare frame upwards ... never done anything like it before.
I don't have as much time as id like to ride it however but I try .

Yes its not been cheap lol
I have just upgraded to Ulterga 6800 groupset from Ultegra 6700 .... the difference is quite noticable.
I was going to go for Dura-Ace throughout but the cost difference is just stupid.
The Dura-Ace wheels were dear enough lol.

Very Jealous. Have the boardman team comp carbon myself, fantastic bike. Kids have a habit of sucking the money out of my pockets so might be a while before I spring for the dura ace wheels.
Doing the Tor de Mon in a couple of weeks. Worth a bash if you've got the time.

Looking at the water bottles, it looks a small frame. What size frame did you go for and how tall are you?

Out of interest how much for the bike pictured? my mate's lad just paid £4K for a mountain bike, we couldn't believe it

The frame was £700 ... groupset was £600 and the wheels were £1000. Various bits and pieces like bearings , handlebars, bar tape would add up to maybe another £200.
Quite frightening really ... better no let the other half see this lol

Its 52cm I believe .. one of the water bottles is a 750ml one though. I'm 5"8

the seat kills me, would pref sofa type seat.
my grandson would love that bike, he says its mint.

It kills me too ... I'm just waiting on delivery of one of these saddles to see if it helps .
Supposed to be very good .... here's hoping.
Infinity N-Series Seat — Infinity Bike Seat

That seat looks a bit "strange" would be interested to know how you get on with that.
I'mtold by those that know that once you've dulled the nerves on the sit bones, by going out that few times when the bum is really still hurting, the pain fades and you don't suffer the same again.
The sofa style seats are good for your short commuters and nipping to the shop bikes, but on anything that you intend to do mileage on the extra padding leads to movement, which then leads to chafing, which then leads to v high levels of pain!

Very nice Proz,It's very satisfying and rewarding to build a bike from the ground up,you get to pick what you want etc.
I built this Rhino F8 not so long ago with Ultegra Di2.Frame size is 46.5cm
