PS2 Slimline Silver - Which Modchip

Any recommendations on which Chip to buy...or am I better off to go for SwapMagic.

I hear that the soldering on a slimeline mahcines can be a bit tricky and it is certainly not my strong point.

I have read up a bit and it does seem to be the easiest option. To be honest I'm a bit wary of taking the PS2 apart.

They are all stable and boots without having to play with buttons.
And some even can boot .elf files for hombrew.

No, I used to think I could until I turned my first PS2 into a bookend.lol

He did say in his first post that soldering was not a strong point, that was why I suggested reading the other thread. I have a chip in my PS2 - I didn't do it myself I hasten to add!
