adding emu

how do you add a emu to image i tryed your way ellie in your thread how to get a picture but got a bit confused could some you or someone explain this again please sorry to be a pain in the arse:comp1: :THANKS:

you need the libcrypto.so.0.9.7 in /lib so it needs to be compiled in
then the keys and scce (copy from a running image) as normal with ftp
put evocamd in /var/bin/emu
make a file called init in /var/etc
put this line into the init file
/var/bin/emu/evocamd
chmod 755 the init file and reboot the box, evocamd should start.

when when i try to chmod using gftp on ubuntu i right click on the file im going to chmod what do i tick or untick as gftp doesnt show the numbers to make it 755 like on flash fxp when im using my windows os ,

When CHMOD'ing, I think you check the 3 'execute' boxes to make it 755.

This might not be right so I would get confirmation from the teachers as well.

ive compile the libcypto 0.9.7 into the image ,ftp,d the keys ,scce files in

made var/bin/emu put evocamd in there from your root file from your other thread how to get a picture , in var/etc made a file init put that file devilfish uploaded thankyou in the init file chmod still cant get a picture is there some thing im missing thanks

If you telnet to the box and navigate to /var/bin/emu then type evocamd it should start the emu. If something's wrong, it will give you an error.

this is my image i did a backup with dreamup but it didnt keep the keys,scce,init,or var/bin/emu with the evocamd in it
the above files i ftp,d in afterwards i flashed image to box
not compiled in tuxbox-cvs

the init file goes into
/var/etc
not /var/etc/init
epg on infobar doesn't work so the patch wasn't complete, it gives you on off in expert setings but it still doesn't work.

I have changed the keys and the cams and still not decoding ?

my sister just came and borrowed the box until tuesday so can't look again till then.

Bolded text say to You that patch was detected, so You was apply patch before or You have patched file.
So, enigma_main.h, esection.cpp and setup_extra.cpp was PATCHED before. You can delete that three files, put new files and apply patch, but Your files are patched, so no need to patch it again.
