Samsung 2100c volume problem

Hi i was wondering if anybody else had a volume control problem with their 2100c samsung.
I thought i upgrade from my pace to the samsung box. But i am finding that change the volume on the remote makes no difference to the sound, which means i have to have two remotes next to me all the time.
Is their any fix for this?

i had same problem

then noticed the scart was in the vcr socket on the back of the sammy...
put it in the one labeled tv.... it worked.... i love my idiot errors.. lol

i dont no if this helps but i was messing about with a 2110c yesterday and the sound wasnt going up when i used the remote, went looking about and found a volume control setting in the settings area of the box.
