How is it that I have been a customer of ntl for 14 yrs never mised a payment been with t mobile ( who's network virgine use) for the same my, credit has been good enough for them (paid db) but ask for virgin sim card & told my credit rating is not good enough, have had 2 contracts with t mobile since I had to stop work cos of accident no probs wtf do they think they are gona call them & tell em to shuv it as going to sky. : asshole

I suppose it depends what else is on your credit report, since Virgin will base their assessment on your future ability to pay money back, not your past. Might be worth getting a copy of your credit report and making sure there is nothing damning on there.

Would piss me off too though.

I would check with sky 1st, if your credit rating isn't good then they may not take you :(

sky would sign up an alcoholic hobo and put the dish on the side of a skip if it meant another subscriber, i was a senior engineer for them for 6 years and youll be surprised the lengths theyll go to to make sure they get their numbers up

they done that with me too m8 phoned bt and they say iam ok with them
so one day soon i will move over.

well why waste time on them if you have sorted out with the other operator

Not all companies have the same credit score for a pass or fail. Salary, how long you have been with your bank and how long lived at an address being on the electoral roll will affect your credit scoring. So failing one credit check does not necessarily mean you have a bad credit score.

If you think you should have a good credit rating, but continually or occasionally fail credit checks, then it is best to get your own credit report to see if there is anything there that should not be on it. Using a subscription service, such as experian credit expert is a good way of keeping track of anything happening to you credit rating.
