it might be a virus quite a few ppl i know has had this problem including my
self couldn't connect to hotmail and a few other sites then i could connect to dw then 5 later cant find server. try looking in ur task manager under processes to see if ther is anything strange's running eg: 1 of my m8 had a program running in his processes a few weeks ago called urnarse so he ended the process and got internet access immediately then he trace it and deleted it. now all is well.
get program call ad aware its adware remover it extremely good and its free to see if helps and also do a virus scan to see if it pic up anything.
