funcard net id

has anyone ever used the funcard method to set a net id on box? cause im in the process now and it has rebooted and started updating but its been 10 minutes just wondered if that sounded right?

If its updating let it do its thing. By the sounds of it that is correct. You have set netid so box is now getting the new platform for your cable company.

i didnt manually set the net id this is going to do it for me so the tut says..just seems to be taking a long time that all.. oh well could always leave it on overnight!!

i did all tuts to the letter and still box would not change netid
so i bought a serial to scart and used libby took 20 seconds

had the same problem with a ditv1k, would not set if using funcard although I have used this method successfully in the past..........2 tries with libby and its set great

I have the same problem but i just don't know how to change it with libby?
Its a pace 4000. Is there a way of doing a forced update? because that should set the netid right?

Hi,

Libby is quite straightforward, I think just as easy as the fun method perhaps 5 mins longer, tut available in downloads section by khan888.

Follow is closely but I did it this way

1. Reboot pc
2. Use driver disk for cable and set the cable up
3. Connect then follow the tut exactly
