Gust a queery which needs a higher signal a Dbox or Dreambox?
The problem is I have a dbox 2 great picture .I got a dreambox for my sister and on trying to set it up it had problems picking channels up in my house but no problem in her house.

My misses seen the dreambox and wants one instead of Dboix2 as they are so small.

Thanks for any advice offered.

Just buy a signal booster from curry's and places like that and your good to go.

My experience of the SLx range is the 'new' plug style one from Argos is complete crap.

The 'old' style SLx works perfect for me. SLx range available from B&Q next to the tv cables/AV cables etc.

I don't have a dreambox yet but just a Eurvox which so far has had no signal problems. I seriously thinking of getting the DM 600c when it eventually comes out. I am getting a bit confused with all the the talk about attenuators and boosters on this site. Could you post a pic or link to the argos site about this booster you recommend?

This is the SLX1 from Argos people are on about m8

ARGOS SLX1 BOOSTER

I bought one and its cured my problem on missing channels BUT I have it turned it full and from what I have read if its turned up full you can get lipsync problems - i just need to find a happy medium then should be fine :)

Use an catv amplifier or an adjustable attenuator behind your SLX1 booster.
