I have used Ubiquiti since 2012'ish. Wondering if anyone has done real world testing on Ubiquiti vs Ruckus and any info

We've got Ubiquity and Ive had a little bit of experience with Ruckus at a school I worked at. Personally I feel Ubiquity is a set and forget process (bar the odd update) works flawlessly never had an issue.

Regarding the Ubiquiti, I am really happy with my home setup with several Unifi components, but sometimes, it feels that new firmwares are not well tested before they are being released. But still, I am really huge fan of Unifi and, for home setups, and for my knowledge level, I found them to be great.

Ruckus/commscope has a greater depth of RF products, so in tough situations you potentially will obtain better coverage with the Ruckus gear. It comes at a higher cost though, fewer sales channels, and less community involvement. Unless you really need to address a weird situation, Ubiquiti is a solid and less expenisve choice with nearly all the usual enterprise features.

has anyone here installed a ubiquiti system in a hotel before?
Yes, Check out this Youtube video. This guy has lots of other good videos on Guest networks and Ubiquiti in general

What do folks use to analyze the wifi coverage once installed. I used to use a netgear device, but that may be too expensive.
