Yeah I know - terrible. It should read "need a wash" as there's more than one!

But if you think that's bad, you should see some estate agents' photos around these parts. Folk trying to sell €300k+ properties & can't even be bothered to tidy the house for the photographer.
 
I can't understand why people would have something that dirty in their home let alone trying to sell it without it looking it's best. Last week there was a yellow garden hose that was quite soiled and described as "needing a wipedown", have also seen adverts described as "a little bit dusty".

Has society got so lazy that they'd prefer to sell something a little cheaper to save the merest of work?

Probably just howked them out of their garage after a decade of traipsing them to and fro car boot sales.
 
That reminds me of someone's ebay feedback I saw years ago (not mine). The feedback was something like "items arrived dirty". The response was "He got two hundred quids worth of gear for a tenner and he wants me to clean them too. Join the real world".
