English clubs have created European football history by taking all four final spots in the continent's two major competitions.

Arsenal won in Valencia and Chelsea beat Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday to reach the Europa League final.

That followed dramatic wins for Liverpool over Barcelona and Tottenham against Ajax in the Champions League.

It is the first time all four finalists in Europe's top two competitions have come from one nation.

I was fishing for a pedantic git ;)

This would never have happened under "UEFA" had Blatter and Platini not been found out.

So Nara, while you have pedanted yourself into this thread, what does this say to you about the state of English football?

Good luck to both teams tonight.
I think that Arsenal will win because Chelsea have already played 4 more games than Arsenal this season, and I believe that tiredness will be a factor.

I am going to predict
1-0 Chelsea HT
2-1 Arsenal FT

Hazard Aubameyang and Ozil to score.
Georginho an Xhaka to be sent off

Sorry, just read your reply thanks to langland's recent post.

You still haven't answered the question though, or maybe your cryptic reply has gone over my head? Help me out here.

Well, since the competition is presided over by UEFA I thought even a numbnuts would manage to decipher the mistake  Instead I hooked a pedantic old fart lol.

I did ask a question myself though, which is unanswered.

Sorry, I'm still none the wiser, so I presume that you've just been spouting your usual witless bollox.

As for your own unanswered question, it appears to be rhetorical, so expecting an answer isn't very sensible..
